Mark and Carolyn McMahon have been marketing their own work for the past twenty years and have had some success in placing other family members work in different commissions, and publishing ventures. Carolyn has been the president of our card company Highland House Designs for twenty years while also working on her sculpture and drawings. Highland House Designs has won the prestigous "Louis Award". Because of Carolyn's success in marketing Highland Houses Designs, many products have enjoyed much success in our many endeavors. I have had the good fortune to be paralleling my Chicago subjects into hand-colored limited edition silk screens, ceramic tile murals, and many pretigious painting commissions nationally and internationally.

My on-location style of drawing and painting comes from my father Franklin McMahon who influenced me as a child not only in style but in his search into art processes. Frankin's serigraph series on the "Chicago Symphony Trip to Europe" is just one example of this.
